A little while ago my cars key broke off in it’s ignition. You might have seen the video I posted about hot wiring my car. Well, all was going good until I had to drive at night. With my car partially disassembled my instrument gauge cluster wasn’t lighting up when I turned on the headlights. I hot wired the dash lights and they worked! – the first time. The second time, I accidentally shorted the wrong wires and fried something in my car. I triple checked all the fuses, both in the cabin and under the hood and couldn’t find anything wrong. Since I had everything apart already, I decided to replace the lights that came with the car with RGB (red, green, blue) LEDs instead! Finding a power source was tricky, but wiring the mod together was fairly straight forward. Check the video below for details on how I got it working better than before I broke it!
