Sometimes when I look around the room I noticed hard surface objects that I think would be fun to model and render, or quick to model and render. Seeing this flashlight on my desk I decided it would be both fun and quick to render. While I enjoy practicing hard surface modeling on its own, I decided to use this as an excuse to learn about HDRI lighting inside Blender. I used this tutorial for the HDRI lighting, and I believe I used the HDRI image provided by them. Here’s the subject:
