When we found out about this place we were expecting a warehouse. But what we got was totally better: a slick ex-office building from a Silicon Valley company. The inside wasn’t just a big empty square, it was a maze of offices, work spaces (sans-cubicles), kitchenettes, conference rooms, and of course bathrooms, a lobby and a loading bay. Having worked in offices for a few years (Cisco, Hurricane Electric, Google), it’s very eerie to urban explore an abandon office building. All the cubes and furniture was missing, unfortunately, but the building was still maze like and gigantic. The day was raining, which really set the atmosphere in a strangely romantic sort of way. There was a surprisingly large amount of graff to flick too. It’d be fun to find out who it belonged, find some ex employees and give them a tour. Hah.
