I recently moved into my friends one bedroom apartment. For the first month we shared the master bedroom, but you know, privacy is nice and all. A few years ago I had done a simpler project where I put up a single wall with a prehung door to convert a 1 bedroom apartment into a 2 bedroom apartment, by segmenting off the living room. This time, the plan was a little more complicated, we were going to divide the rather large bedroom in half, putting up two complete walls and two pre-hung doors.

The plan was to extend the existing hallway into the bedroom partially so we could make two doors and a basic wood frame for the walls.
