This was a gigantic warehouse – basically two in one. In was comprised of two separate buildings, joined with a large gate connecting them. In the middle was a creepy cage – see the thumbnail and pics below. While exploring this place, I was annoyed by a loud, squealing, screeching sound. Because I was exploring an industrial part of town, I assumed that there was some kind of heavy equipment operating near by. But as I got closer to the cage, I started to feel like the sound was coming from inside the building. Eventually I entered the “Screaming Cage” as I now call it, and realized that directly above the cage, dead center, is a wind-driven spinning exhaust vent. I suppose it hasn’t been lubed since the building was vacated, so now it makes an excruciatingly high-pitched sound as the wind spins it. Other than that, this building housed some nice Smells, You Go Girl, Wax head, Nerds, and other pieces. There was an interesting foreman’s house inside, as well as some portables set up like an office space. The floor inside the portables was completely rotten and collapsing underneath my weight, so I didn’t spend much time in there. Interestingly, there was a healthy batch of mushrooms growing up from the floor, and some industrial cleaner/paint had dried with permanent ripples.
