This spot has been on the top of the to-do list for quite some time. It took us embarrassingly long to actually find it, however. In fact, we found many other creek spots during our exhaustive hunt. Besides the obvious Mario-Girafa, this spot also has amazing work from others like Swampy, Phaze, Indica and more. When we finally got inside, we decided to find the end (because persistence always pays off). We ended up traveling 3 miles underground with only the occasional glimpse of sunlight. It was definitely the most epic drain tunnel I’ve been in – and one of the most nerve wracking. Hearing a pipe open up and start flooding somewhere 1/4mi behind you is unnerving. UPDATE: I revisited this place with a better camera, so the following photos will be much clearer than the previous.
